Normally we would not do that because it isn’t practical or profitable. If it’s obvious that the new design would have broad market appeal, we might consider it.

CNC Shop is not a system integrator and our CNCs are not privately labeled. The Super-B+ was designed by Dynatorch, INC., but we continue to manufacture them here from the ground up at our facility in the United States. There are no hidden markups due to foreign or domestic arbitrage. We build the frame, table, gantry, and controller panel right here in Alabama. We are completely capable of providing full technical support for the Super-B+ CNC without having to secretly rely on back stage companies in the US or abroad. We build them, and we know how they work.

Sorry, not at this time, but thank you for your interest!

Plasma cutting systems are used for metal fabrication and repair, in various industries such as transportation and agriculture, to architecture and electronics. The most typical use case is companies that have decided they no longer want or need to outsource fabrication and repair. Providing parts and repairs for businesses is the best strategy for a metal fabricator to find an opportunity for high volume contract work. Large companies, or companies that need a lot of metal repairs, incorporate plasma cutting systems into their maintenance department. Unless you own the plasma cutting system as a hobby, arts and crafts should be regarded as a minor source of profit, after hours when the system is not running production. We strongly discourage anyone from purchasing a system that thinks they can make a significant amount of profit solely with art – this is extremely unlikely. Sourcing work boils down to effective advertising and providing quality work on time to build a good reputation – many of your leads will eventually come by word of mouth. Price competition is not an effective strategy for quickly building and nurturing a customer base – finding and mastering a new niche in the plasma cutting market is. Lastly, correctly factoring the cost of owning, operating, and maintaining the CNC into your sales price will prevent misleading yourself and others about actual profit, versus perceived profit.
